We're taking you back to Sundance, where we interviewed director Liz Garbus and star Amy Ryan of the film Lost Girls. The film is based on the true story of a desperate mother searching for her missing daughter, which eventually leads the police to the unsolved cases of murdered sex workers. We discuss these real life cases (which are STILL unsolved to this day) and what it means to be a bad bitch. This is an important story, beautifully told, streaming now on Netflix! We'd just like to mention that Amy Ryan is a national treasure, and despite the urge, there was no mention of The Office, or Holly Flax. Saving that for our second interview... :)
