WADE08 hosts Episode 99 of Opal Heights
Born in Hayward California on March 15th, 1996, WADE08 is a bay native who's stagename derives from the fact that he started producing in 2008, rapping and engineering shortly thereafter. As a kid he used to write poetry and freestyle to J Dilla beats until he picked up Reason and started making beats. From then, WADE08 crafted Bay Area blap infused with the smoked out elements of Curren$y/Wiz Khalifa/ Cardo & Sledgren. He also cites Battlecat, Pharrell, DJ Quik, Daft Punk, and Gorillaz as influences. Wade describes his music as "Daft Punk Hyphy" in that it is bay rap that is infused with a dance music element. An ideal day for Wade is spent making music and watching anime.
