"knowing what i do" (feat. Paola Prestini)

This week's Loose Canon Listening Club is a very special one. I'm excited to share with you my first radio interview: Paola Prestini, composer, violinist, and artistic director and co-founder of National Sawdust. I am grateful for her time and thoughtfulness. Check out her organization's online BODY / SOUL 2021 Season, which begins this week, and explore previous digital performances and masterclasses from the past year. All of the concerts and talks are available to stream for free.

The episode features music from Paula's recent release Con Alma, as well as by winners of her organization's Hildegard Competition –  inti figgis-vizueta and Niloufar Nourbakhsh – and from the new record by Italian-American composer Paolo Marchettini.
