I first saw MJ playing with Wednesday at Bottom of the Hill back in 2022. Caught him again earlier this year at the Rio Theatre in Santa Cruz and have been watching his slow ascension in the music industry!
In anticipation of his upcoming Bay Area shows, tonight’s episode is a look through his discography and some of the songs that I think that make him a special storyteller, along with some some of his live versions of songs and we also visit some other artists who walked in the indie/alt/country circles so he could run ⛹🏼♂️
