"It's Not Me, It's You,"
a night of romantic confession, in collaboration with Under Your Hat and Slightly Sobbing. A live-storytelling event featuring love stories performed and broadcasted from a hat store.
On this evening, we explore the familiar chapters of a romantic relationship. Each storyteller will share an experience from their unique love stories and all the comedy and drama it yields. The theme showcases the formulaic trends we go through when dealing with love and each story will acknowledge each phase. "It's Not Me, It's You" will be the best anti-date affair to celebrate your favorite chocolate holiday.
The event will be held in one of San Francisco's oldest hat store called Paul's Hat Works in the beautiful Richmond District. The store has been operating since 1918 but currently ran by women hatters continuing the legacy of handmade hats. Above the store is Under Your Hat, a vintage salon with a time-honored atmosphere ran by Desiree Ammons, a co-collaborator of the event.
Both Back Pocket and Slightly Sobbing are weekly radio shows from local online radio station, Best Frequency Forever or BFF. A live-broadcast of this event can be heard on BFF.FM the night of this event
