Just 14 miles north of San Francisco, Mill Valley features its first music festival this weekend.

The 2022 Mill Valley Music Festival is a new event intended for all ages. It takes place May 7 at Friends Field, located adjacent to the Mill Valley Community Center. It features San Francisco artist La Doña. The Mission District-raised performer has risen to fame blending reggaeton, pop and hip-hop, among other sounds.

The 2022 Mill Valley Festival is headlined by Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals.

Other artists on the bill include funk band Lettuce and Nashville-based folk/rock artist Liz Cooper. Latin Grammy Award-winning Venezuelan band Los Amigos Invisibles is also featured.
