Your Tuesday night can't sound better than this: SF ambient/experimental music guru and Aural Films netlabel founder Jack Hertz will be stopping by the BFF.fm studio for a chat and a live in-studio performance on Sounds In The Dark.

Jack will be performing a mellow improvised set of Fog Music using keyboards, gamelan (that's right, gamelan!) and other instruments to create sounds inspired by SF's beloved weather phenomenon. He'll be joined by bay area experimental music notables Andy Apaurusheya Cook and Phoenix DrNow. We'll also be talking about Aural Films and its expansive catalog of Fog Music and other works from a worldwide cast of ambient music luminaries including K. Leimer, Cousin Silas, and Scott Lawlor, that recently gave rise to its own festival here in SF. We'll also be spinning some favorite and upcoming Aural Films releases, and generally having a great time.

Join in this upcoming Tuesday at 10pm PST for a not-to-be-missed ambient music experience that will help put your day to bed.
