For readers curious about the what the music scene in the Bay Area is like, it's teeming with talented artists who are dedicated to their craft, value collaboration, build community, and show up and out for each other. A quintessential example of this is a project called Qamp.

Qamp, co-created by Bay Area artists Casey Cope and Marquito, brings together 20+ artists of diverse skill sets and genre backgrounds to "camp" out in their Berkeley-based studio, The Q. In three days, they create a full album FROM SCRATCH. That's right. A whole album in three days.

I fear I lack the words to describe how magical the end product is, but luckily for you, QAMP also creates a documentary about each project.

There are three QAMP albums so far, and YOU, brilliant artist, could be one of the next participants! Casey and Marquito are now taking submissions.

Here's what they are looking for: "Qamp IV is COMIN BABYYY!!! Qamp is a project where we invite artists to make an album from scratch in 3 days -- no premade beats or song ideas.

We're looking for producers / singers / rappers / guitarists / flutists / trombonists / whatever it is you do. We don't care if you got 50 followers or 50,000 , we're just lookin' for hot shit."
