Each Thursday during our end of year fundraising campaign we're sharing a letter from a local musician about how BFF.fm has benefited them in 2020. This week's letter is from Ruby Mountain. (photo by Daniel Soley)

BFF.fm was such a light for me when the pandemic happened. Like other artists and audio engineers, my work and performances were put on hold because of COVID-19.

It was a relief to see BFF.fm was thinking about artists impacted by the pandemic by offering relief funds and performance opportunities for Bay Area artists. My first online concert with multiple artists in the line up was with BFF.fm. I felt connected and embraced by the BFF.fm community to be performing alongside other amazing local artists again. I appreciate the thoughtful effort and adaptation BFF.fm has made to uplift and validate local Bay Area artists at this time.
