Catching Up with Dale Ho - ACLU's Director of Voting Rights Project

The documentary The Fight  -  (about  a scrappy team of heroic ACLU lawyers in an electrifying battle over abortion rights, immigrant rights, LGBTQ rights and voting rights) comes out on July 31.  We got to see the film for our initial interview at the Sundance Film Festival with filmmakers Elyse Steinberg, Eli Despres, and ACLU lawyer Dale Ho - and as we'd like to say, we 100% fangirled over Dale. He is truly an American hero - fighting for our voting rights everyday. Also, as we found out, Dale is from the Bay Area, so that made him a million times cooler in our book.

So, what do you do while you're sheltering-in-place and  have some time on your hands? You reach out to the ACLU Director of Voting Rights Project (and Oakland A's fan) to come back on your show to talk about what he's been up to since we last saw him. We're so lucky he said yes, and to be honest, he recorded this episode while he was on a getaway with his family. The guy is literally saving our country and he took time out for your bitches. Anyway, let's get into it with Dale and we're excited for you to see his work in action when The Fight releases via The Roxies virtual cinema this week.

Be well, stay safe, and thank you for wearing a mask .
