Third Country Radio Episode 65: My Sweet George

This past February 25th marked what would have been George Harrison's 81st birthday, so why not celebrate with two hours of great music by the man himself and some of his friends? We barely scratch the surface of Harrison's excellent back catalog; as great a songwriter as his former Beatles bandmates, he also helped promote what would become known as World Music and his Concert for Bangladesh acted as an example for future benefit shows. While we share some of Harrison's best songs and a few deeper cuts, we also include tracks by collaborators Ravi Shankar and Billy Preston.
