The 1982 Show

About The 1982 Show

1982 was a year full of musical diversity.  From ambient and industrial to no wave and goth rock, post punk and disco, to synth pop and new wave, genres and styles were multiplying and morphing together within the work of an astounding number of unique and creative artists. The 1982 show seeks to share the work of these artists with some contextual information and occasional criticism.  Phil Ventura, along with a selection of local musicians and DJs, leads the listener through this prolific and varied era.
