You know what they say about best intentions... and those for this mixtape was to bring you something fun and familiar for you to throw on in the background while you whiled away the heatwave at the beach or under a shady tree. Of course, here in San Francisco, our skies turned apocalyptic orange, the air unfriendly to breathe, and the temperature quickly cooled with the sun enveloped by the smoke of distant wildfires. So here's a mix of favorite songs and artists of the show to try to bring you comfort while you all once again lock yourselves away in your homes, out of the ashfall. Hopefully, this mixtape can pull you away from doom scrolling the news for a couple hours and give you the energy to bake some cookies, re-pot your succulents, or re-start that long neglected project.
