With this week's episode, I tried to build a sonic space for us all, collectively, to begin collecting our thoughts, assessing our feelings, and letting go of some of our negative emotions, so that we can begin the process of recovery from a truly trying week. Helping us accomplish this is brand new music by Sarah Haras and Faten Kanaan, who are both featured on a Ma3azef magazine's fundraising compilation for musicians and others effected by last month's explosion in the Port of Beirut, and Coral Club. We'll also hear tracks off recent albums by the Andrew Weathers Ensemble, Benoît Pioulard, and Ego Ella May, as well as the compilation Field Works: Ultrasonic, which collects songs composed from field recordings of bat echolocations.
