a cycle of storms swirled over our heads, and we kept working, flying in and out of the city, going out to lunch, and the power went out, and the dinner continued, the new mother-to-be and the father imposing all his weight upon her. the windows blew open, and even though it is shocking when it happens, it happens fairly often when a cycle of storms swirls above our heads.
