Back in the year 2015, BFF.FM ran a Kickstarter campaign to fund the construction and equipping of Studio B — expanding the station to accommodate recording more shows, doing more interviews, providing a back up location so we could do upgrades to our existing studio. One of the rewards offered was to buy your way in and guest on your favourite show.
Like all good Kickstarter campaigns, it's 18 months later and we're finally fulfilling a reward, so tonight Simon and I are delighted to sell out our 150th show, and be joined by our friend Stef Magdalinski. He brings half the set tonight, including obscurities by his friends, old favourites, remixes, and a very fine voice for radio too.
Thank Stef, and to all our other Kickstarter backers. Studio B is operational because of you, and now we have shows broadcasting into the night thanks to our recording capacity.
