"Euro-Kettle"

Ben is someplace silly like Sonoma, continuing a worrying summer tradition of not actually both being in the studio at the same time, but everything is a-ok because Simon is joined by a wonderful co-host in the form of the impeccably dressed, exquisitely musically-informed Rocío Rødtjer, who brings a Spanish/Danish flair to the show this week.

Along the way, we discover that MAC lipstick shades unfailing make for amazing band names, the correct way to pronounce Madrid (or "Madriz", for those in the know), the bizarre Scåndificatiøn of synth-band names, and end with the shock decision that Rocío and her husband Tom need to become a scandi-synth duo called Lady Danger.

Plus, y'know, a bunch of great new music, including Simon's favorite - a welcome return to raucous shouting over guitars, courtest of The Dirty Nil.
